I just got your conversion app for my Iphone5. I tested the different categories and was pleased except the money conversion that said $1 U.S. was $10 Canadian. Not even close! Any fixes?

It seems to be intermittent and affects only some users randomly. I am preparing a new version that will have a different method of fetching the currency rates that should be more robust.
I am hopping to have a fixed version ready in a few days.

I’ve been using Units Plus for some time and find it very useful, but I believe there is an error on the Cuban currency converter…
It shows the CUP (Cuban Peso) as equal to 1 USD, but I believe it is actually the CUC (Cuban Convertible Peso) that is on par with the USD. The CUP is currently trading at approximately 26.5 per 1 USD or 1CUC.
Which version of Units Plus do you have. You can find the version number in settings. If you have less than 2.4 please update to the latest version as the bug was removed. Please let me know.

Hi Alan, this app is fantastic, but I have version 2.5 and am also suffering issues with the currency converter. It has started using the conversion rate on the last section I used, I.e. if I use the length converter of mile to kilometer then switch to the currency converter, it continues to use the rate, thus converting 100Aud to 1.61USD. Just a little glitch somewhere 🙂

I just upgraded to the plus version and I cannot open any conversion. I open the app but when I pick a conversion the app closes itself. I deleted and installed the app, turned phone on and off, but the problem persists. I don’t want to wast my money, please help. I have an IPhone 6.

The app has worked perfectly until a few days ago – now it opens when selected but dissapears to the background as soon as an option such as “currency” is selected. Double-clicking the iPhone button shows the app still active but in its home screen format – not with the option selected as stated above. Selecting the option simply repeats the dissapearing act. Using the paid version and have done an uninstall/re-install – no luck.

I have an Apple 6 Plus 128gb memory with 81gb remaining free. I am also running IOS Version 10.3.1.
PROBLEM:
Wheb running the “Area” button I will set the “blue” left to, say “Acre” and then set the “Gray” side to “Feet.” I enter1acre to get the square feet in an acre. As soon as I press the “=” button both dials will jump off my selected acre two (2) settings. The left blue side jumps dow to “Square Feet” and the gray side jumps two settings to “Acre.”
In otherwords the two settings reverse their settings. I get 1ft(2) [square foot] and the answer is 0.00002295684114, NOT A GOOD ANSWER.
By the way, why can i not copy avd paste the answer into my document. It is a pain in the ass to have to type the answer in my document. Retyping the results is prone to errors.
That is not the equal button. That is the reverse button. There is no equal button as calculations are running as you type the numbers. As soon as you are finished typing the number the answer is there for you.
For copy/paste you are correct. This is something that is useful and I will add it in the next update.
Hi when I convert 5.11 feet in meter, it says 1.55 meter is in fact 1.804 meter or 71.02 inches.
But if I convert 1.804 it says 5.918 feet.
Clearly this conversion is a major flaw when needed in a hurry. Thank you in advance
That is just a time zone setting and it depends where you live and to what time zone the WordPress is setup.
Alex, 5.11 feet is in decimal format. It means 5 feet + 0.11 feet and it is correctly equal to 1.557528 meters. You are thinking that 5.11 represents 5 feet and 11 inches. That is not correct.

That is not the equal button. That is the reverse button. There is no equal button as calculations are running as you type the numbers. As soon as you are finished typing the number the answer is there for you.
For copy/paste you are correct. This is something that is useful and I will add it in the next update.

Hi when I convert 5.11 feet in meter, it says 1.55 meter is in fact 1.804 meter or 71.02 inches.
But if I convert 1.804 it says 5.918 feet.
Clearly this conversion is a major flaw when needed in a hurry. Thank you in advance

That is just a time zone setting and it depends where you live and to what time zone the WordPress is setup.
Alex, 5.11 feet is in decimal format. It means 5 feet + 0.11 feet and it is correctly equal to 1.557528 meters. You are thinking that 5.11 represents 5 feet and 11 inches. That is not correct.
